Adult Bible Studies

Adult Classes

Adult Education at Holy Trinity are wide and varied to meet the needs of the congregation.

We have a Brown Bag Bible Study on Wednesdays at 12:30 PM. We meet for lunch and fellowship and then proceed to study either a book of the Bible or a book by a Christian author. We have wide ranging discussion and have explored many traditional Orthodox writers and many works on Christianity. In the past we have studied: John Spong's Jesus for the Non-Religious, the Gospel of Mark, The History of Christian Theology by William Placher, Marcus Borg, N. T. Wright, John Dominick Crossan, C. S. Lewis, Acts, the Gospel of Luke, and the Gospel of John, and Opening the Bible from the New Church Teaching Series.

We are also pleased to present a Tuesday Evening Bible Study at 7:30.

Soup Suppers take place during Advent (the four weeks before Christmas) and Lent (the six weeks between Ash Wednesday and Easter) on Tuesday evenings at 6:30.

Please join us at either Bible Study or speak with the Rector to begin a class on a subject that interests you.
