What's Happening ? \ Upcoming Worship Schedule \ Regular Services

We are a traditional Episcopal parish in the Diocese of Maryland. We have two Sunday services, both using Rite Two of the Liturgy. Our 8:00 A.M. Service is one of simplicity with no music. our 10:00 A. M. Service includes our choir and recently acquired pipe organ, hymns, and an offertory choir anthem.

During Lent and other penitential occasions in the Church year, we use Rite One. Currently, on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m., we have a Children's Service, with young people reading the lessons.
Holy Trinity also offers Christmas Eve services each year at 5:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The Service of Holy Eucharist is also celebrated at noon and 7:30 p.m. on Ash Wednesday, as well as Maundy Thursday and Good Friday evenings. The Stations of the Cross are observed on Good Friday at noon.

Our 19th century church and newly renovated parish hall, located in the rural community of Churchville, provides a sense of our history and a commitment to the future. We are hospitable, caring for our members, and deeply committed to social outreach. One of our parishners sums it up:

8AM - No music, Rite II

9:45 AM - Sunday School for Children (ages 3 through 1st grade)
(Children enter church at 10:40 AM during the Nicene Creed)

10 AM - Rite II, with Choir and Organ
(Second Sunday Children's Service)

11:15 AM- Fellowship in the Parish House
